Pray
The Prayer House is a two-room house near Ohio State's campus set apart for corporate and individual prayer, worship, and creativity. No body lives here but during the hours with gatekeepers, the house is open. Sign up for individual or small group prayer in the boiler room by e-mailing: info@loveosu.com.
Check the prayer calendar. When a gatekeeper [GATE] is signed up and the house is open to stop in and pray. Also come check out one of our prayer meetings here.
Take a Gap Hour or Gatekeeping Shift
- Gap Hour: this is a commitment to a weekly time of strategic, intentional prayer at the Prayer House. This includes praying through a weekly prayer focus, for students to know Jesus, for campus ministers and ministries, against strongholds, for our administration, staff, and faculty, for ministry events and outreaches, and for the glory of God to shine on campus!
- Gatekeeping: Gatekeepers are the people making the Prayer House possible. Since no one lives here but Jesus, gatekeepers are students and community members with keys that commit to a regular time each week to hang out at the house and welcome pray-ers. They are not only watching who is walking in the door but what is coming in. This means being sensitive to the music, the conversation, noise level and the Internet at the house. We desire that every aspect of our being and our actions would be welcoming to the Spirit.
Bless the House
1. Bring supplies. We are always in need of paper towels, toilet paper, basic cleaning supplies and random art supplies to encourage creativity. If you have a question about need, contact prayosu@gmail.com
2. Donate. Believe it or not, students don’t have the resources to keep this place running! Financial gifts large and small are greatly appreciated. If you want to give financially to the house of prayer, it is an IRS approved 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization. Donate online or checks can be made out to “Love OSU” and can be mailed to:
Love OSU

3. Spread the word. Bring friends to see the house, pray with us at campus wide prayer and direct them to the website. We also welcome opportunities for team members to speak at small groups, churches or ministry meetings.
